Jeff Phillips is a Managing Partner of Midtown Financial Advisors and has been a Wealth and Investment Advisor for over 30 years. He developed his financial expertise with Prudential, PaineWebber/UBS, and Wachovia Securities.
Jeff majored in business and computer science at the University of Central Oklahoma. His comprehension of complex financial issues gives him exceptional insight into the challenges facing individual investors. Jeff uses his vast experience and knowledge to create customized financial strategies for his clients. He holds Series 6,7,9,10,63 and 65 securities registrations through Securities America as well as health and life insurance licenses.
Jeff’s passion for community service prompted his run for the Guilford County Board of Commissioners in 2012. As Chairman of the Budget Committee, he led a bi-partisan effort in navigating the County’s $600 million dollar budget, resulting in significant spending reductions and decreased property tax rates. Jeff is currently Chairman of the Guilford County Board of Commissioners.
Previous community involvement includes: serving as a team leader for the Salvation Army’s NightWatch ministry; President and co-founder of Men of Vision and Excellence, a Christian non-profit; President of the Optimist Club; and Board member of Greensboro Children’s Museum.
A native of North Carolina, Jeff and Lori have been married for 34 years. They and have two daughters and two grandchildren.
