Managing Partner
Brad started his career in the financial services industry the day after he graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro Bryan School of Business in 1996. He began the journey as a Registered Representative with Jefferson Pilot Financial before leaving to work with Principal Financial Group in 1997.
During his time at Principal Financial Group, Brad focused on financial and investment planning. He also spent three years managing a sales group with as many as 10 representatives. More importantly, his time at Principal led to his conviction in helping individuals and families to understand and embrace the importance of having a financial plan in life.
Brad made this philosophy the cornerstone of his advisory practice when he became an independent advisor in 2003. He worked in that capacity for more than 10 years before collaborating with other financial advisory space leaders in Greensboro, NC, to launch Midtown Financial Advisors in 2015.
Brad is proud to continue to serve as a financial advisor for relationships formed long ago, which he views as a testament to the care and personalized attention he gives all his clients.
Greensboro Native & Seven-Time Father
Brad was born and raised in Greensboro, NC, which he continues to call home. He views Greensboro as a very family friendly town — and he has firsthand experience to speak from, having raised seven children with his wife Shannon: Maci, Morgan, Maddie, Raksana, Kaspar, Bradley Jr., and Mia.
He is proud of his family, which has been expanding to include several grandchildren now.
He and Shannon are volunteers for the Family Room, which provides a range of resources to foster and adoptive families, and are available to help with emergency placements. The foster care and adoption community is near and dear to their hearts, as two of their children were adopted in 2017 when they were 13 and 14.
Outside of the office he enjoys finding ways to spend time outdoors, gardening, going for walks, and visiting historical sites. He is an avid gardener and usually plants more than 100 okra plants each year, with the harvest sometimes being as bountiful as 5,000 okra.
