Dwain has worked as an investment advisor since 2011. He founded Deep River Capital Advisors in 2016 before merging his practice with Midtown Financial Advisors in 2019.
He is a Certified Financial Planner® professional and a Certified Kingdom Advisor®, bringing a values-based approach to investment management, retirement planning, charitable planning strategies, and long-term financial planning based on each client’s individual goals and priorities.
Dwain earned bachelor’s degrees in physical education and Bible from Piedmont Bible College, now known as Carolina University.
Community Advocate
Dwain lives in Bennett, NC. He and his wife Heidi have three adult children: Anna, Sarah, and Jonathan.
He stays active in his community through organizations like:
- Bethesda Family Ministries, which provides a spiritual ministry to children and their families through counseling, awareness, education, financial assistance and other areas of need
- ABBA Fund, which offers adoption assistance for Christian families
- Monthly study group of local CKA® investment professionals
- Randolph Rotary Club in Asheboro, NC
